Position Summary:

Our Asset Protection Security team employs cutting-edge technology and analytical tools to minimize losses and safeguard our financial interests. As an Asset Protection Detective, you will have the chance to receive specialized training and enhance your capabilities in this position. You will establish and nurture relationships with store personnel and law enforcement agencies. Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize surveillance methods to identify and apprehend individuals involved in theft and dishonest practices
  • Employ de-escalation techniques to maintain a secure environment for customers and colleagues
  • Recover stolen goods
  • Conduct research and provide statements and evidence to support investigations
  • Prepare documentation on theft incidents, investigations, and audits
  • Adhere strictly to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, searches, and evidence handling
  • Develop and sustain partnerships with store staff and external entities, including law enforcement
  • Provide testimony in court for criminal and civil matters
  • Educate colleagues on protocols to safeguard company assets
  • Respond to alarm situations and undertake special assignments
  • Administer first aid to customers and colleagues as needed

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods; capable of quick movements
  • Ability to apprehend individuals in accordance with company policy
  • Requires hearing, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above eye level
  • Capacity to spend extended periods in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds
