Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Christiana Care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all phases of CT scan testing, working with hospital in-patients and outpatients, and adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scan testing, including preparation, scanning, and image analysis.
  • Work with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT scanner units, including setup, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Administer contrast media under physician supervision and assess patient reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results.
  • Participate in quality control and radiation safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of imaging protocols, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT registry in CT Scan required, with a 2-year period to pass the CT Registry exam for non-certified technologists.
  • Licensed by the State of Delaware on Radiation Protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
