Teller - Customer Relations Specialist

As a First Volunteer Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing relationships with our esteemed clientele. Your warm demeanor and welcoming approach will ensure that every customer entering our Financial Centers feels valued and appreciated while you assist them with their transaction requirements and engage in meaningful discussions to uncover additional ways to meet their comprehensive financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role as a CSR encompasses a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Uphold the reputation of First Volunteer Bank with honesty both within the branch and in the wider community, adhering to established policies and procedures while delivering unparalleled customer service.
- Operate an inside or drive-through teller window, providing transaction services with precision, efficiency, and professionalism in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of available products and services to effectively address customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of cash items, teller over/short reports, and other negotiable financial instruments while complying with all branch cash control policies.
- Respond to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating a commitment to customer assistance.
- Foster exceptional teamwork to surpass both branch and individual performance objectives.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail when handling monetary transactions.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds in coins or currency.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to financial center operational and security protocols.
