Perform routine checkout and upkeep of anesthesia equipment, inspect for damages, and send for repair or troubleshoot as needed. Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering for maintenance and repair of anesthesia equipment and ensure adequate backup at all times. Participate in trial, data collection, and recommendations for purchase of new equipment.

Work with engineering to maintain records and documentation of equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain inventory of disposable and non-disposable equipment, including supplies, and initiate replacement using established contract vendors.
