Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Fontana, California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and other radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Computed Tomographic (CT) imaging and assist physicians during minor surgical procedures.
- Modify imaging techniques as needed and observe patient conditions during and after procedures.
- Shave and apply antiseptic solutions to patient skin areas, transport patients to/from procedure areas, and assist physicians with fluoroscopic examinations.
- Process digital or film images and make prints as necessary, perform radiation safety monitoring, and record pertinent patient information.
- Review patient charts to identify significant patient conditions, compile Quality Assurance data, and operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable x-ray equipment.
- Three (3) years recent experience as a CT Technologist, or successful completion of the department's formal CT training program.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certificate (California) or Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California).
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California), Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California), and Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support certification.
