Patient Access Representative

The Patient Access Representative provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring a positive experience. This role is responsible for registration, scheduling, and data entry, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality customer service to patients and families
- Register patients for appointments and procedures
- Collect and verify patient information
- Enter data into electronic systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience with computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance systems
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical billing and registration systems
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to perform daily activities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
