Job Summary

The Patient Access Representative provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring a positive experience. This role is responsible for registration, scheduling, and data entry, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service to patients and families
  • Register patients for appointments and procedures

  • Enter data into electronic systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous experience with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of electronic medical billing and registration systems
Working Conditions
