Patient Care Support Representative

The Patient Care Support Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth allocation of supplemental staff to patients across the health system. This role involves working closely with Staffing Nurses and Clinical Administrators to prioritize patient safety and meet the needs of patients with complex care requirements.
This position requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a call center, staff scheduling, or medical office setting, and will be proficient in staff scheduling systems, email, and medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the allocation of supplemental staff to patients across the health system
- Work closely with Staffing Nurses and Clinical Administrators to prioritize patient safety
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a call center, staff scheduling, or medical office setting

Working Conditions:
- Rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required
