Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused RV Service Advisor to join our service team at Optimum RV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their RVs are serviced to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Customers and Determine Service Needs: Act as the primary point of contact for customers with service needs, using active listening and effective questioning to determine their requirements.
  • Create Accurate Work Orders: Develop detailed and accurate work orders for service technicians based on customer requests and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Provide Estimates and Communicate with Customers: Offer customers estimates for repairs and maintenance, explaining the scope of work and associated costs, and keep them informed about the status of their vehicles.
  • Coordinate with Service Technicians and Parts Department: Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work and coordinate with the parts department to ensure necessary parts are available for service jobs.
  • Handle Customer Inquiries and Resolve Issues: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate records of all service transactions, including work orders, invoices, and customer communications.
  • Ensure High Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional service and support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a service advisor or in a similar customer service role, preferably in the automotive or RV industry.
  • Knowledge of RV Systems: Strong knowledge of RV systems, maintenance, and repair procedures (preferred).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Service Management Software: Proficiency in using service management software and computer systems.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or business education is a plus.
