Position Overview:

The Service Lane Attendant plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience as they arrive at our dealership for vehicle servicing. This position involves welcoming customers, managing vehicle tagging, and ensuring a smooth flow of service traffic. Additionally, the attendant will assist in directing customers to service advisors for vehicle write-ups and will be responsible for parking vehicles in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist customers as they arrive for vehicle service.
  • Prepare vehicles for servicing by installing protective covers and floor mats.
  • Support Service Consultants during the write-up and delivery process.
  • Handle incoming phone calls as needed.
  • Provide shuttle services for customers to and from their destinations.
  • Maintain a daily log of shuttle activities.
  • Assist in the Rental/Loaner Department when required.
  • Perform various errands as directed by management.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects as necessary.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Maintaining balance and coordination while navigating various surfaces.
Work Environment:

This position may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including:

  • Weather elements.
  • Moving mechanical parts.
  • Non-climate controlled environments.
  • Noise and vibration.
