Position Overview:
Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Field Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving issues reported through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with network services and software engineering teams to restore functionality and identify root causes of problems.
  • Suggest modifications to systems to minimize user issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and analysis, including hardware configurations and component management.
  • Implement operating system updates and patches via SCCM Software Center.
  • Offer remote assistance to telecommuting users.
  • Ensure applications function correctly over VPN and/or Citrix environments.
  • Manage user relocation requests and ensure proper device encryption.
  • Support local on-site cabling and provide assistance to enterprise groups, including network and security operations.
  • Restart network devices as directed by networking teams.
  • Assist users with mobile devices and provide tier 2 support for hardware troubleshooting and operating system reinstallation.
  • Support asset inventory and assist with property receiving and disposal preparation.
  • Troubleshoot video conferencing systems and assist with setup and maintenance.
  • Gather and analyze end-user support trends and report findings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong technical proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of experience in troubleshooting Apple Macintosh software and hardware.
  • Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Familiarity with SCCM for remote resolution and software installation.
  • CompTIA Network+, A+, Server+, and Security+ certifications.

Compensation:
$15.47 per hour.
