The anticipated salary range for this position is between $123,300 and $137,000, contingent upon experience, along with a complete benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role entails providing leadership in the oversight of laboratory operations and projects. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team members across all laboratory functions, while ensuring the integrity of Chemistry analytical and radioanalytical programs, including adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise Chemistry Technicians and Chemists, which includes coaching, mentoring, reinforcing fundamental practices, scheduling, and maintaining documentation.
- Lead and support Chemistry-related projects.
- Facilitate and participate in the training program.
- Manage all sampling systems and the associated data management system.
- Support the management of the Chemistry budget.
- Participate in GSEP rotation and be available for call-outs as necessary to meet station requirements.
- Ensure safe and reliable laboratory operations while maintaining a clean working environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of Supervisor Assessment.
- Achieved Chemistry Technician qualification with a minimum of 5 years in the field or possess a 4-year technical degree along with 5 years of relevant experience outside of plant operations.
- ANSI qualification as per station-specific requirements.
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Supervisory experience.
- FLS Qualification.
- Experience as a Chemistry Technician.
