**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our Government Sanctions Group at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's compliance with government sanctions programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the oversight of the firm's enterprise-wide sanctions screening and control processes.
  • Conduct reviews of sanctions alerts and initiate investigations to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and technology divisions to collect information relevant to potential sanctions concerns.
  • Provide sanctions-related advice to internal constituencies.
  • Develop and enhance sanctions-related policies and procedures documents.
  • Deliver sanctions training to Goldman Sachs employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Sanctions-related experience in the financial services industry or relevant government agency/regulator.
  • Ability to handle multiple priority projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and an aptitude for learning new systems and applications.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
