Core Responsibilities:

A Live-in Caregiver is responsible for delivering personal care services that assist clients with their daily living activities. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Support with mobility and transfers
  • Helping with dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation according to dietary guidelines
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or errands
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Providing companionship and engaging clients in suitable activities

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current auto insurance are required
  • High school diploma or GED is necessary
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check for direct patient care roles
  • Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation during the interview process in accordance with state regulations for home health services
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal caregiving (agency or private)
  • Current CPR certification is recommended
  • CNA, HHA, or PCA training certification is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per client requirements
