Job Title: Residential Aide

Job Summary:

The Residential Aide plays a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, providing support services to clients and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with escorting to support service appointments
  • Support Case Managers, Client Care Coordinators, and other facility personnel as needed
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness before clients enter the facility
  • Assist with scanning client files into the Network Attached Storage (NAS) upon client departure
  • Bag and tag clients' belongings when left behind or assist if client is physically handicapped
  • Complete nightly census to account for client presence
  • Assist with kitchen duties, including distributing meals and maintaining inventory
  • Conduct facility tours to ensure safety precautions are taken
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
  • Sign residents in and out of the facility according to curfew restrictions
  • Answer the phone, relay calls, and take messages
  • Perform daily wellness checks of residents with a crib age child and or any active ACS/preventive services
  • Assist the security team with daily operations
  • Perform daily pack ups and logging of the client's belongings
  • Store and remove resident property from storage area
  • Escort social services staff to conduct weekly unit inspections
  • In the event of an emergency, Essential Personnel are required to report to work as scheduled

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
