Job Summary

Community Residences seeks a dedicated and compassionate Residential Caregiver to join our team. As a Residential Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and developing strategies to help clients cope with daily living situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to enhance client learning and independence.
  • Monitor and report medical, physical, and behavioral changes to supervisors and medical professionals.
  • Administer medication to clients as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and household management.
  • Participate in training opportunities to maintain required certifications and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in human services or a related field.
  • Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs and perform active work both inside and outside the program.
