Community Residences seeks a dedicated and compassionate Residential Caregiver to join our team. As a Residential Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and developing strategies to help clients cope with daily living situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to enhance client learning and independence.
- Monitor and report medical, physical, and behavioral changes to supervisors and medical professionals.
- Administer medication to clients as prescribed and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and household management.
- Participate in training opportunities to maintain required certifications and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience in human services or a related field.
- Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs and perform active work both inside and outside the program.
