Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will work closely with the Director of Finance and the Financial Controller to provide supervisory support to various accounting functions of the Finance department, including:
- Accounts Payable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and credit memos to ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, and implement processes to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Collections and Revenue Accounting: Work with the collections team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments from customers, and reconcile revenue accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
