Role ResponsibilitiesFoundation GEOINT National System for Geospatial Intelligence Operations Executive (NOX) (SFP)
The Foundation GEOINT NOX Office is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and prioritizing Foundation GEOINT requirements to ensure optimal utilization of production resources in support of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.
Key functions include:
- Evaluating requirements, readiness, and the capability to support customer plans;
- Proactively identifying emerging customer needs through strategic collaboration with domestic and international partners;
- Acting as Crisis Lead;
- Leading DoD readiness assessment programs, including Mission Readiness Reviews, Joint Force Readiness Reviews, and Combat Support Agency Review Team assessments;
- Providing foundational data, imagery, and imagery-derived products to address requests for information from the NEO Community, Department of State, and other Federal entities.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will recommend strategies to ensure ongoing progress for each project or activity. You will also define and enhance processes, ensuring that successful best practices are integrated and that ongoing messaging is informed by organizational feedback and assessments. You will produce written reports, presentations, or other required artifacts for each assigned task and support briefings and meetings to discuss recommendations. Building productive relationships with senior leaders, the general workforce, and other collaborative partners is essential.
Your Duties- Provide ongoing support to the Joint Content Management (JCM) and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Strategic Initiative Business Plan.
- Facilitate the discoverability and accessibility of NGA GEOINT content.
- Engage with SF Offices, NGA, and NSG mission partners to fulfill the SF's mission and vision.
- Participate in SF and Foundation GEOINT forums to assist SF staff in successfully meeting their responsibilities.
- Support SF staff in operational planning and integration.
- Assist in coordinating and producing various planning and integration documents and activities.
- Support the SFP Staff in managing the System for Requirements Management (SRM) and data architecture.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in defining and developing performance metrics, including metrics analysis.
- Support SF staff in developing and reviewing a variety of SF documentation, ensuring alignment with other hierarchical documents such as the National Intelligence Priorities Framework (NIPF), Strategic Planning Guidance, IC directives, DoD directives, and NSG policy guidance.
- Recommend and coordinate necessary actions for SF staff to achieve mission objectives.
- Act as the liaison between NGA and NSG customers and source providers under Government guidance, demonstrating proficiency with Geospatial-Intelligence sources, methods, and systems/tools.
- Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Proven experience with Intelligence Community data and product types, missions, and functions, including the geospatial requirements process and production.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in standard business application software for presentations, word processing, and particularly spreadsheets to effectively present data metrics.
- Experience in building complex formulas within Microsoft Excel to extract data from extensive spreadsheets.
- Expertise in data quality analysis, preparation, cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
- Experience with Esri ArcMap and Geographic Information System (GIS) Tools for data extraction and interrelation with other metrics and sources.
- Familiarity with Geospatial-Intelligence sources, methods, and systems/tools.
- Experience in defining future data requirements, including the prioritization process, utilizing NSG-level guidance.
- Experience in assisting with the prioritization and coordination of production requirements from Combatant Commands (COCOMS), Services, and External Agencies.
- Knowledge of Esri ArcMap, GIS Tools, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP), and NIPF.
