Job Overview

As a Cashier, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service by ensuring a quick, friendly, and precise checkout experience. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions at the checkout and managing returns, while also overseeing the Self-Checkout area. You will actively seek knowledge about products and services to assist customers effectively and identify sales opportunities. Adhering to company policies and procedures is crucial to minimize losses.

A Head Cashier will oversee the Cashiers, facilitating price checks and authorizing Point of Sale transactions, markdowns, and returns across various service areas.

In this role, you will also address customer concerns and assist in the training and development of other Front End Associates, contributing to the onboarding of new Cashiers and utilizing available resources to mentor and enhance their skills.

The ideal candidate for the Head Cashier position should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cashier role.

Cashier - $16.50
Head Cashier - $17.50
Pro Cashier - $16.50

1 Full-time salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; full-time hourly associates will earn 40 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; part-time associates will receive 20 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; temporary associates are not entitled to vacation benefits.

2 Sick leave policies vary by location.

Salary and temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked; full-time associates will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; part-time associates will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater.
