A Head Cashier will oversee the Cashiers, facilitating price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns across various service areas including Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.

In this role, you will also address initial customer concerns and assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates. This includes participating in the onboarding of new Cashiers and utilizing available resources to mentor and develop your team.

The ideal candidate for a Head Cashier position should have at least 1 year of experience in a Cashier role.

Available Cashier Positions:
Cashier - $16.50
Head Cashier - $17.50
Pro Cashier - $16.50

The Home Depot provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes: paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid parental leave, six paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, 401K with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, profit-sharing bonuses, and other benefits (specific benefits may vary based on employment status).

1 Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; Full-time hourly associates will receive 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; Part-time associates will be eligible for 20 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; Temporary associates do not qualify for vacation benefits.

2 Sick time policies vary by location, with specific accrual rates for different employment types.
