You will actively seek to enhance your product knowledge to assist customers effectively and identify sales opportunities. Adhering to company policies and procedures is essential to minimize shrinkage.

A Head Cashier will oversee the Cashiers, facilitating price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns across various departments, including Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.

In this role, you will be the first point of escalation for customer inquiries and will assist in supervising, coaching, and training other Front End Associates. This includes participating in the onboarding of new Cashiers and utilizing available resources to mentor and develop your team.

The ideal candidate for the Head Cashier position should have at least 1 year of experience in a Cashier role.

Cashier - $16.50
Head Cashier - $17.50
Pro Cashier - $16.50

1 Full-time salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; full-time hourly associates will receive 40 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; part-time associates will receive 20 hours of paid vacation after 6 months of continuous service; temporary associates are not eligible for vacation benefits.

2 Sick leave policies vary by location, with specific accrual rates for different employment types.
