We are seeking a motivated and skilled New Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team in Virginia. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive StaRN program.

About the StaRN Program

The Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses is a paid nurse residency program featuring didactic and clinical training. This 1-year program allows new graduates to transition from the classroom to the acute care setting.

The program consists of two parts: Training and Clinical Preceptorship.

  • Training (10-12 weeks):
    • Didactic training introduces core curriculum and hospital initiatives
    • Simulation training reinforces nursing skills learned in the didactic setting
    • Hands-on training applies clinical skill set in assigned department
  • Clinical Preceptorship (9 months):
    • New nurses are paired with trained preceptors
