Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced RN with a passion for leading and teaching other skilled nursing staff to join our team as a RN Shift Supervisor.

About the Role:

This is a 2nd shift position that requires working every other weekend. If you have experience as an RN and are looking for a challenging role where you can make a difference in the lives of others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
  • Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems
  • Assess and evaluate the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality resident care and performance of staff
  • Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care
  • Contribute to the resident's assessment and the development of a plan of care
  • Evaluate the resident's responses to nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments correctly

Qualifications:

  • Current state license as an RN
  • CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired
  • Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing desired

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
