About the Role at Intelsat
We are seeking a skilled professional to enhance our Space Systems Engineering and Operations (SSEO) division by overseeing and delivering high-quality documentation, processes, tools, and training initiatives. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams within SSEO to ensure coherence and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and uphold a Mission Assurance framework in accordance with Intelsat's Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Assess operational performance and effectiveness through comprehensive metrics analysis
- Analyze and refine practices, procedures, and policies to mitigate risks
- Lead Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) evaluations and the implementation of corrective measures
- Create and deliver high-quality procedures, processes, and training sessions
- Implement change management protocols to ensure alignment with corporate objectives
- Organize drills and training exercises to maintain team preparedness
- Assist management in conveying satellite health and risk evaluations
- Design and assess workflows to ensure safe operational practices
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to promote best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in drafting specifications and aiding in contract formulation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies
