Inventory Control and Order Processing Specialist

Sno-Haus Ski Shops is seeking an Inventory Control and Order Processing Specialist to manage a range of responsibilities associated with the receipt of incoming winter sports merchandise and apparel for our retail operations.

The ideal candidate will verify that all shipping documentation aligns with the orders placed, ensuring there are no shortages or inconsistencies.

This role is primarily administrative; however, some physical handling of stock will be required. This is a full-time opportunity with potential for part-time work during off-peak seasons.



Key Responsibilities

  • Document incoming shipments and manage supplier paperwork efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain precise electronic receiving records and documentation.
  • Generate product labels and tags from receiving documents for inventory management.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment discrepancies and propose solutions.
  • Assist management in the tagging and inventory placement of products by team members.
  • Reconcile shipping documents from suppliers with original purchase orders.
  • Create electronic documents for inventory transfers between locations.
  • Input purchase orders into the computer system accurately.
  • Provide support and assistance to company staff as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of receiving materials.
  • Adhere to established standards, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Continuously enhance job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; an Associate's Degree or relevant certification is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in data entry and word processing.
  • Capable of performing filing and record-keeping tasks.
  • Numerical aptitude is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
