Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, analyzing data, and implementing processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting inventory levels, movements, and discrepancies.
- Conduct cycle counts, physical inventory, and data entry to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement perpetual inventory processes to improve inventory management and reduce errors.
- Coordinate and conduct slot checks to ensure alignment of systems and physical inventory.
- Perform other projects as assigned, including analyzing inventory metrics and recommending improvements.
- Operate indoor and heavy-duty forklifts, stand-up riders, and other necessary warehouse equipment to handle materials and supplies.
- Receive and inspect delivered supplies, materials, and equipment, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements:
- Excellent math, reading, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Attention to detail, solid judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Forklift certification may be required.
- Microsoft Office platform experience.
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs solo or greater weights in a team lift.
- Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required.
