Job Title: Development Associate

Join Living Classrooms Foundation as a Development Associate and contribute to our mission to strengthen communities and inspire people to achieve their highest potential.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Associate to support our Development team in securing funding for our programs and services. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and research skills, with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write compelling proposals, solicitation letters, and reports to secure funding for our programs and services.
  • Conduct research and identify new sources of funding, including government, corporate, and foundation grants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders, stakeholders, and other partners.
  • Support the Development team in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Assist in tracking donations, managing databases, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, creative writing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
