Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Technician to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our 18-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living needs, including monitoring and reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs.
  • Respond to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality and monitoring patient safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote a safe and compassionate patient care environment.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in clinical patient care, with a strong focus on critical care.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
