  • Shipping Duties:

    • Coordinate with delivery services and manage logistics for nationwide shipping.
    • Ensure that frozen meals are packaged with appropriate materials for quality preservation.
  • Receiving Duties:
    • Receive and thoroughly inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality assurance.
    • Unload and systematically organize received items, ensuring optimal storage conditions.
    • Update inventory records with received items and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain precise inventory levels through regular stock assessments and audits.
    • Assist in the organization and storage of products within the warehouse.
    • Notify supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Update inventory management systems with relevant shipment and receiving data.
    • Prepare reports on shipping and receiving activities as needed.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all products adhere to Sheba Foods' quality standards prior to shipping.
    • Inspect products for quality and freshness during the receiving process.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with distribution and warehouse teams to facilitate smooth operations.
    • Communicate effectively with team members regarding shipping and receiving needs.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
