Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is in search of a dedicated and seasoned Senior Project Manager to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our governmental partners to strategize, initiate, and oversee information technology initiatives, ultimately contributing to our commitment to deliver outstanding service and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, your role will encompass:
  • Project Management Support: Assist the Government lead in managing assigned product activities, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and ongoing support.

  • Meeting Coordination: Oversee all logistics for official meetings, including preparation of materials and documentation of meeting minutes. Provide administrative assistance such as organizing meeting logistics and maintaining records.

  • Reporting: Generate progress and project reports to support Product/Project Managers and Government leads. Facilitate communication with stakeholders on complex technical issues, ensuring thorough tracking of activities and concerns.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake various tasks to support the Government, including but not limited to:
    • Integration Management
    • Scope Management
    • Documentation and Briefings
    • Cost Management
    • Quality Assurance
    • Communication Management
    • Risk Assessment
    • Procurement Management
    • Project Planning
    • Monitoring and Control
    • External Services Coordination
    • Process Asset Management
    • Technical Oversight
    • Performance Measurement
    • Advisory on governance frameworks and decision-making models
    • Consultation for senior leadership on business and financial matters
    • Independent problem-solving and thought leadership with minimal supervision




Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Eligibility for Government Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT Project Management.
  • Strong grasp of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Exceptional communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
  • Capability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented setting.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team-building capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal Government clients is preferred.
  • PMP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a plus but not required.
