About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly experienced Regional Program Manager to lead our disaster recovery efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing aspects of business development and client relations, including market assessments, client identification, and matching client needs with our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand our disaster recovery client base nationally.
  • Manage client relationships and foster new opportunities with businesses within the industry.
  • Prepare proposals, project cost estimates, and client interview documents.
  • Assist clients in planning and implementing their projects, communicating with senior leadership staff, and interfacing with federal, state, and local officials.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts, and support other Tetra Tech staff assigned to projects.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with federal disaster recovery grant programs, including FEMA's Public Assistance (FEMA PA), FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (FEMA HMGP), HUD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-DR), U.S. Treasury, and other appropriate disaster recovery programs.
  • Experience with public speaking, including delivering presentations and facilitating meetings, as well as working with government officials and businesses within the disaster recovery industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good mathematical skills.
