About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will provide technical assistance in support of site investigations, site remediation, sampling, community involvement, removal action oversight, air monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance in support of site investigations, site remediation, sampling, community involvement, removal action oversight, air monitoring, and reporting
  • Participate in field events that include multimedia sampling and field data collection, interpretation of results, and preparation of data/summary reports and deliverables
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Periodically travel to support environmental field activities on other Tetra Tech projects
  • Technical writing in support of environmental response, investigation, cleanup, and compliance activities utilizing MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of experience in the environmental field
  • Writing skills and ability to interpret and present field data in technical reports
  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to prioritize multiple activities as well as organize, coordinate and analyze technical material
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
  • Education or experience in environmental consulting, environmental compliance, community involvement, or related experience is desirable
