Patient Experience Liaison

Job Summary:
The Guest Services Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for patients, families, and visitors at UF Health. This individual serves as a liaison between guests and hospital staff, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality engagement and assistance to guests, including orienting and supporting patients/families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources.
- Facilitate communication and problem resolution between unit staff, other departments, and patients/families.
- Secure transportation and provide information on local lodging and amenities.
- Support the lost and found process, provide valet vouchers, and ensure a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
- AA degree preferred or 3-years customer service experience in healthcare or related service industry.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to use a computer.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to teach and train others, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must successfully pass a FBI Level 2 screening for this position.
