About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Transformational Lean Operations Leader to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving process and product improvements in a manufacturing environment, focusing on lean production practices and tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and facilitate improvement teams across multiple plants, establish and maintain effective processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate improvement teams across multiple plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices.
  • Develop and implement systematic and thorough documentation of all projects, ensuring seamless knowledge sharing and collaboration across the network.
  • Collaborate with finance to establish project values, aligning with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee project management and administration, including project direction, implementation, cost/benefit analysis, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate project developments to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Define projects based on customer requirements, utilizing tools such as PFMEA, process flow mapping, control plan documentation, and capability analysis.
  • Review, measure, and proactively study KPIs to prevent substandard products that do not meet customer specifications.
  • Work with Quality and Operations teams to address customer complaints, focusing on permanent corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain regular progress reviews, aligning with site leadership requirements.
  • Collaborate with CI Managers/Coordinators from other sites and corporate headquarters to share best practices and drive sustainability of improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process and product improvement or operations leadership in a lean production environment.
  • Certification in Lean manufacturing is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of formalized lean manufacturing practices and tools.
  • Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) is preferred.
  • Strong Project Management and execution skills.
  • Structured and organized approach.
  • Excellent team player with ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
