Job DescriptionProgram Associate Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Associate to join our Business Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills, with a passion for helping small businesses reach their goals.

  • This role involves overseeing our 'Lending Readiness' services, supporting clients in preparing to apply for business financing, and offering resources and education on credit building, financial habits, and managing debt.
  • The Program Associate will work closely with lending partners to convene regular meetings, arrange education or technical assistance, and help clients navigate the small business lending process.
  • Directly providing business services to small business clients, including general consulting, goal setting, and specific projects like website development or Quickbooks setup.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 'needs discovery' meetings with potential clients, explaining program eligibility and services offered.
  • Help clients navigate the small business lending process, monitoring and tracking potential lending clients, and handling requests for information about Lending Readiness services.
  • Lead communication with lending partners, convening regular meetings and arranging education or technical assistance for clients.
Requirements
  • One year of related professional experience in project management, community outreach, and direct work with clients or community members.
  • Experience or skills in areas such as adult education, consulting/coaching, entrepreneurship, business planning, business operations, or personal finances.

Our salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
