About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Nursing Assistant Certified, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic nursing care, including taking vital signs and recording observations.
  • Assist with therapies and treatments under the direction of licensed personnel.
  • Perform basic nursing procedures, such as applying anti-embolism stockings and collecting specimens.
  • Document resident care and vital signs accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
  • Current, valid Washington State license to practice as a nursing assistant certified.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language for medical charts and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current, active status on the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA).
