About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the State of Washington. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation
  • Respond to resident calls and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
Requirements
  • Valid Washington State license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Active status on the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) Registry
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and protocols
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
