Plano Texas, United States Community Hospital Corporation Full time

Community Hospital Corporation is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Director of Payroll Services department.

This role is responsible for processing payroll for assigned hospitals, implementing the UltiPro payroll system at new facilities, and maintaining payroll information in the automated system. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit payroll for all assigned facilities
  • Input employee maintenance data, including new hires, terminations, increases, and transfers
  • Work with facilities to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Implement the UltiPro payroll system at new and start-up hospitals
  • Provide support and assistance to facilities as needed
  • Balance payroll for all assigned facilities
  • Generate payroll reports as needed
  • Organize hours and input for weekly productivity reports
  • Balance and approve W-2s and W-3s
  • Balance and approve quarterly payroll reports
  • Perform research projects as requested

General Duties:

  • Represent Community Hospital Corporation at designated meetings
  • Uphold and support the company's mission, goals, and objectives
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent), some college preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in payroll processing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Experience with UKG, Ultipro, and/or Dimensions

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize payroll fundamentals
  • Ability to utilize a sophisticated automated payroll system
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of payroll information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to understand the level of importance of any payroll issue
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to produce quality results
  • Ability to be trustworthy
  • Ability to communicate and relate well with multiple audiences openly, respectfully, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and staff and respecting all differences
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational and administrative problems
  • Ability to be very detail-oriented
  • Possess proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite of programs and sophisticated automated payroll systems
  • Possess and utilize a core set of ethical values
  • Possess a strong customer and service to others orientation
  • Possess sound and accurate judgment and timely decision-making
  • Possess critical thinking skills
