Position Overview: Associate Manager, Ads & Promotions (New Ventures) - Strategy & Operations

Our focus is on empowering our Merchant partners to enhance their sales across various channels. Utilizing first-party platforms such as in-store and online, along with the DoorDash Marketplace, we leverage data, marketing tools, and customer engagement strategies to assist Merchants in achieving their growth objectives.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager of In-Store on our Ads team, you will oversee the daily operations of our latest Merchant growth initiatives. We seek an individual who is dedicated to addressing customer challenges, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is willing to engage hands-on in testing and launching Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). This role is expected to be hybrid, combining in-office and remote work.

Key Opportunities in This Role
  • Strategic Planning: Assess partner needs, prioritize them based on impact, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise effective solutions.
  • Implementation: Spearhead the rollout of new services and processes for managing Merchant launches.
  • Structuring Opportunities: Navigate through uncertain environments and establish frameworks for undefined prospects, creating playbooks and templates as necessary.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data to inform hypotheses and persuade cross-functional partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development teams to align on strategies and bring products to market.
Candidate Profile
  • 4+ years of experience in high-growth environments, including tech, operations, strategy, consulting, or banking.
  • A passion for driving change daily and the ability to operate in stimulating settings.
  • Proficient in translating high-level objectives into actionable plans and implementing detailed processes.
  • A fundamental approach to problem-solving, translating strategic visions into measurable success metrics.
  • A desire to explore diverse challenges and engage with various aspects of the business.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel modeling.
Compensation Overview

The base salary range for this position is provided below. Compensation may vary in different locations.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, relevant experience, and specific work location. For remote roles, base salary is adjusted according to the employee's work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for further details.
