  • Plan Review: Update existing Business Continuity Plans and verify that:
    • Management information, roles, responsibilities, and Business Continuity Management Team (BCMT) contacts are thoroughly documented.
    • Details at the organizational level are fully completed.
  • Business Impact Analysis Verification: Assess and confirm:
    • All process details are comprehensive.
    • The Business Impact Analysis (BIA) impact assessment is documented, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
    • Justifications for impact ratings are complete.
  • Critical Process Assurance: For all essential processes, ensure that:
    • Key personnel are identified.
    • IT applications are recorded with corresponding application IDs.
    • All applications have necessary business-required RTO and RPO metrics.
    • Process owners provide justifications for the impact of technology loss.
  • Recovery Strategy Documentation: Ensure that recovery strategies are either documented or developed to mitigate associated risks and address technology loss.
Compliance Monitoring:
  • Verify that changes to BCP and BIA are documented and aligned with printed plans.
Expert Guidance:
  • Provide insights on roles and responsibilities.
  • Share expertise in risk assessment and Business Impact Analysis.
  • Advise on business continuity processes and procedures.
  • Optimize recovery strategies.
Training and Awareness:
  • Facilitate ongoing BCP maintenance.
  • Ensure proficiency in utilizing the BCP tool for updates and report generation.
  • Encourage process recovery best practices.
  • Experience Requirement: 8 to 10 years in a relevant field.

The compensation for this role ranges from $50 to $60 per hour, with the final offer reflecting internal equity and varying based on the candidate's expertise and regional considerations.
