Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team at Clearway Energy, Inc. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Risk to implement and analyze commercial insurance programs, ensuring the effective management of risk and insurance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal resources, insurance consultants, and brokers to execute insurance reports for capital market transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of new and renewal insurance policy applications, including exposure and loss information.
  • Maintain and update insurance policies, binders, and supporting documentation.
  • Negotiate with internal stakeholders, insurance brokers, and consultants through written and verbal communications.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in response to property loss control conducted by property insurance carriers.
  • Handle property claims in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related risk experience, including data collection and analysis.
  • Project management experience, including planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Technical writing and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of basic asset classes, such as utility solar, DG, and C&I solar, wind farms, and battery storage.
  • Basic understanding of risk analysis, probable maximum loss, and sharing of insurance limits.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Casualty, renewable energy, liability, and property insurance experience.
