Job Overview

Position Title: JCB Parts and Service Coordinator

Reporting Structure: Reports to the JCB Director of CE Service

Objective:

The primary aim of this role is to enhance and oversee the aftermarket operations associated with the JCB product range. This position works closely with various departments including Service, Parts, and Sales to deliver exceptional aftermarket assistance for JCB products.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and Parts Management

  • Oversee the JCB Dealer Service Excellence initiative

- Ensure dealer preparedness

- Uphold dealer performance standards

- Manage warranty processes

- Enhance service penetration

- Drive revenue growth

  • Market and promote:

- Service agreements

- Extended warranty options

- Aftermarket accessories

- LiveLink subscription renewals

  • Supervise the tracking and ordering of attachment inventory
  • Assist the sales team in sourcing attachments facing supply challenges
  • Administer the LiveLink telematics system, which includes:

- Customer profiles management

- Allocation oversight

- Monitoring of upcoming services

- Customer training sessions

- Training for branch personnel

Continuously develop knowledge of JCB and industry products to serve as a proficient aftermarket support resource.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical guidelines, or governmental regulations. Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Proficient in presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Proficiency:

Basic skills: Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure, utilizing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Capable of calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting bar graphs.

Reasoning Abilities:

Intermediate skills: Ability to apply common sense to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

Work Environment:

The work environment primarily consists of an office setting, with occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. Some travel may be required. The noise level is generally low to moderate. The role involves extended periods of sitting, with moderate standing and walking throughout the office, shop, and warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted on occasion.
