As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality electronic components for aviation applications. Utilizing a variety of hand tools specific to electronics assembly, such as crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers, you will contribute to the production process. While prior experience in electronics manufacturing is not mandatory for entry-level positions, familiarity with assembly practices is advantageous.

Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of interpreting blueprints and process documentation.
  • Willingness to utilize hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, etc.) and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Ability to operate high-temperature equipment safely.
  • Capability to pass necessary visual acuity assessments.
  • Willingness to obtain required certifications for soldering and brazing.
  • This position is restricted to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components according to detailed process instructions.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical testing as needed.
  • Perform in-process testing and assist with fixture setups.
  • Engage in inventory management and material verification.
  • Support prototype builds under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with material expiration dates and safety protocols.
  • Promote efficiency and quality improvements in production.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Assist in training colleagues based on expertise.
  • Accurately document labor tracking and report issues as necessary.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding operational updates.
  • Participate in team initiatives and uphold leadership principles.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in assembly, soldering, and electronics manufacturing.
  • Comfortable working with various chemicals and gases.
  • Previous experience in a self-directed team environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and climbing may be required.
  • Capability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
