Job Title: Staff Services Analyst - Listos California Program Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) as a Staff Services Analyst - Listos California Program Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the administration of the Listos California program, a community-based approach to disaster preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and homeland security focused on reaching vulnerable populations in California.

About the Job:

Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, you will perform various entry-level functions related to the administration of the Listos California program. This includes providing administrative support, coordinating outreach and engagement efforts, and assisting in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for ensuring Cal OES's programs and interactions are based on a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for the Listos California program, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate outreach and engagement efforts with community-based organizations, non-governmental organizations, tribal nations, and federal, state, and local governments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for ensuring Cal OES's programs and interactions are based on a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as emergency management, public administration, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in a related field, such as emergency management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which includes up to two days of remote work per week. Additional in-office days may be required based on business needs. The main office is located in Mather, CA.

Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required. The position requires a valid Driver's License (DL). You must answer the questions addressing your DL on your application and provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
