This ongoing contract involves a 5-day workweek in a dynamic environment. The consultant will be tasked with overseeing operational workflows within the Quality Control Unit (QCU), supporting Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) testing, and coordinating necessary risk evaluations.

Client Overview

Our client is a prominent international banking institution. They offer a comprehensive range of services, focusing on corporate lending, international trade solutions, treasury operations, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking, and various other financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular quality assurance and quality control assessments, including but not limited to KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and TTMS.
  • Develop and enhance operational procedures within the QCU.
  • Analyze transactions and customer interactions to ensure compliance with departmental control measures and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Generate reports and analytics as required.
  • Identify, evaluate, monitor, and report on operational, compliance, and reputational risks/issues within the department.
  • Appropriately escalate risk-related issues as necessary.
  • Conduct departmental control testing.
  • Act as the primary contact for managing audit and regulatory inquiries.
  • Perform quality reviews of documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is essential.
  • Background in Risk Assessment is required.
  • Strong ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business documentation is necessary.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of BSA, AML, US Patriot Act, OFAC, CIP Regulations, and consumer compliance is crucial.
  • General understanding of bank deposit operations and related commercial banking and compliance functions is preferred.
