Job Title: Revenue Cycle Manager

Olympic Sports & Spine is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our revenue cycle management processes, including coding, billing, collections, denial management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain billing office procedures to ensure a common understanding of essential processes and assist with new employee training.
  • Responsible for new employee training and ongoing training and mentorship of Revenue Cycle Management staff.
  • Collaborate with Billing Office Director to complete performance reviews on Insurance AR, Patient AR, and Payment posting staff.
  • Field and respond to patient complaints in a timely and effective manner, investigating reported issues and potential solutions needed.
  • Responsible for the execution of Insurance AR Follow Up and Collections processes, monitoring and advising staff to ensure timely and effective review of accounts, identification of priorities, appeal of denials, communication with payers, MVA accounts, and collection of remittance due.
  • Responsible for the execution of Patient Account Management and Collections processes, monitoring and advising staff to ensure timely and effective review of accounts, identification of priorities, communication with patients, establishment of patient payment plans, coordination with collection agency, and collection of patient responsibility.
  • Responsible for the execution of Payment Posting processes, monitoring and advising staff to ensure timely and accurate posting of payments, monitoring payments and write-offs for accuracy, reviewing remit stations and banking site to ensure timely posting, ensuring allocations and payments are accurate and have been posted.
  • Manage and complete patient and insurance refund processes, reviewing refund requests for accuracy and submitting to accounting for processing.
  • Actively pursue continuing education for self and ensure all members of CBO staff complete pertinent continuing education coursework.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience, including active AR management.
  • Supervisory experience preferred with a track record of staff training and mentorship.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy billing is required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business and financial reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
