Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our reputable medical clinic, iCare Medical Group. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for patients.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories and vital signs, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary medical supplies, equipment, and resources.
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection, requesting lab results in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient patient flow, and minimizing wait times.
  • Maintain electronic health records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification or relevant qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical procedures and protocols.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, enabling effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members in providing efficient and professional care, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing data management and patient care.
