Buddy's Home Furnishings WA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, professional, and profitable operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition and Retention: Acquire and maintain customers by reselling the benefits of timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments.
- Store Operations: Assist in managing store personnel, direct activities of one or more employees, and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Decipher, prepare, and review store reports, document all customer commitments, and fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support.
- Inventory and Cash Management: Manage customer accounts, inventory, and cash assets, and prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks.
- Quality Control and Marketing: Follow monthly marketing plans, maintain internal quality control standards, and ensure company standards for renewals, delinquencies, and store collections are satisfied.
Requirements:
- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Collection Skills: Established collection skills to negotiate and resolve conflict.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills to handle customer interactions and employee supervision.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in POS system and able to learn and become proficient in other systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load, move, and use a dolly for merchandise pounds, and traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics.
