Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Cascadia Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering and assisting with the self-administration of routine medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and/or assist with the self-administration of routine medications of various forms.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and treatments administered or omitted on each resident's clinical record.
  • Follow the activities of daily living for each individual's care plan.
  • Report changes and observations of residents' needs and preferences.
  • Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, as well as lift, move, and transport residents.
  • Document care provided to residents.
  • Follow standard precautions and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current WA State CNA/HCA license in good standing.
  • Applicants with nurse delegation a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Current First Aid and CPR card.
  • Maintain current Food Handlers card.
  • Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check.
