Per Diem Hospital Unit Service Coordinator

The Unit Secretary plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the department. As a key point of communication, they ensure seamless coordination between patients, staff, and other departments. Key responsibilities include assisting patients upon arrival, managing phone calls, maintaining patient records, and coordinating care services with other departments. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be familiar with regulatory standards, and adhere to UCI Health-Fountain Valley policies and procedures.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Recent acute care experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
