Salary Range:
$81,000 - Salary will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.

SUMMARY:


The Compliance Operations Specialist II will collaborate with information system users to compile, analyze, and disseminate reports related to finance, quality, and other compliance-related inquiries in the healthcare sector.

This role involves coordinating and facilitating all phases of planning, evaluation, development, reporting, and problem resolution, addressing underlying compliance challenges and objectives.

The work is characterized by both independent and collaborative efforts.

Responsibilities:

Key Duties & Essential Functions:
Utilize appropriate data sources and preferred reporting software (GE/IDX, Cerner, Business Intelligence tools, SQL).


Demonstrate advanced Excel capabilities, including designing reports, importing and exporting data, linking multiple worksheets and/or files using key fields, and manipulating data to create key fields when necessary.


Assist the Associate Director in analyzing, displaying, and customizing reporting data in formats such as dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and the development of new reports.


Support the Associate Director in reviewing existing reports and modifying them to enhance daily, monthly, and quarterly processes under the guidance of Compliance Department Leadership.

Conduct quality reviews on dashboard reports and implement necessary changes.

Assist in creating data visualizations using available datasets.

Establish and manage security protocols for physician and administrator access to the dashboard portal. Troubleshoot portal issues and propose solutions.


Exhibit creativity and independence in problem-solving while collaborating with data reporting staff to organize data, create/manage reports, and conduct data analysis.

Utilize reports to support business decisions for various departments and key stakeholders.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field: Business, Health Care Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and writing proficiency.

Experience with visualization and analysis software (MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Preferred

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Applied Health Informatics or a related field

Experience with billing claims data

Familiarity with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)

Experience with GE/IDX software applications

Experience in a healthcare environment.

Physical Demands:

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate with patients, staff, and medical providers.

The employee must be able to convey accurate information in these interactions. This role is primarily sedentary and requires the employee to remain stationary for most of the day. Any additional physical demands will be specified by management.
